Conversion

Conversion is R.J. Albanese's first full-length novel, co-written with E. T. Sherman. It traces the slow turning of a life — the way a single conversation, a single decision, can split a person into a before and an after.

Drawing on the same questions that have animated all of Albanese's work — meaning, faith, and the shape of an examined life — Conversion brings them into the form of story: people you come to know, and a turning point you feel arriving before they do.
